About Northwards Ltd

The company was formed in January 2002 after a management buyout from P&O Scottish Ferries Ltd of their freight, haulage and maintenance operations in and between Aberdeen, Orkney and Shetland.

Throughout 2002 we continued to market and expand the services previously offered by P&O. This saw cargo volumes grow throughout the year culminating with a new depot opening in Inverness.

We have been fortunate in having a very experienced, dedicated and loyal workforce on board many of whom we have worked along with for more years than we may care to remember! Our achievements to date have been made a lot easier thanks to their hard work and enthusiasm.
